Sunrise Porthole Stained Glass Window

A custom stained glass panel designed to fit an oblong porthole window in a camping trailer. The composition centers on a rising sun, with strong rays extending upward through layered greens and blues. Warm amber and yellow tones anchor the horizon, while textured glass softens the light as it moves through the space.

The shape of the window guided the entire design. Curved edges and flowing lines were used to echo the rounded frame, allowing the scene to feel natural rather than forced into a rectangle. Installed in a compact interior, the piece brings color, light, and a quiet sense of morning into a space meant for travel and rest.
